So let me get this straight

1. Elon Musk buys Twitter

2. Elon Musk unbans Andrew Tate

3. Andrew Tate picks a fight with Greta Thunberg

4. Greta Thunberg ratios the shit out him

5. He gets mad and posts a video response

6. There’s a Romanian pizza box in the video which twigs Romanian police of his location

7. He is raided and arrested for human trafficking

That is some fabulous fuck-around-find-out shit and a great end to the year.

luckytigershark:

Lil Nas X is so fucking powerful. He’s a black queer man who’s unapologetically queer. And he doesn’t give a shit what homophobic white conservatives have to saw about him. All his songs are amazing. He makes white racist homophobic people feel uncomfortable and that’s fucking amazing.

people don’t fully address how much lil nas x does for the lgbtq+ community, and yet they constantly praise someone like harry styles for what he does by wearing a dress. lil nas x is openly and unapologetically gay, addresses his past internalized homophobia and the struggles of coming to terms with who you are, and is openly flamboyant and feminine. but him and many other black, queer, and poc artists have their contributions pushed aside while the spotlight remains on cishet white men.

for a long time, people in the music industry have fought against gender norms and showed that they were different. there are countless black and queer artists from the past that changed people’s ideas about femininity. and yet, someone like harry styles wears a dress one time and is praised for eternity for helping the queer community. it’s important to have allies break down gender norms and fight for equality, but it’s also important to recognize the black and queer people who made this possible. lil nas x deserves a lot of credit for what he’s done to help the lgbtq+ community.
